Meet Tracy Simpson
If you live in the horse racing town known as Hot Springs, chances are you either know or have heard of Tracy Simpson. Growing up, his family always had horses, but it was at the age of 13 that his love for thoroughbred horses began. During his teenage years, Tracy had the opportunity to work on the backside of Oaklawn Park and learn from the ground up from various owners and trainers what it's like from the stable to the test barn and everything in between. That knowledge of understanding the backside and the enthusiasm that this sport brings to Hot Springs was just the fuel he needed to start trying his hand in handicapping horses. He started Track Talk with Tracy in 1988 and never looked back.
